Yeah, Ferreira is getting scored too high though with those late and early grabs. He's grabbing like a quarter of his hits.

Still a very good comp. Should have been Wise / Porteous / Ferreira, but for a judged sport they did a pretty damn good job here.

Okay, maybe this is just me, but is Kate Beirness the most plastic, fake television sports person out there right now? The smile, the voice, it's like someone made her in a factory.

Were you just watching pipe? The commentary team there was fantastic. Night and day compared to Sochi, where they had people who didn't know what they were talking about at all.

And they were 0.5s away from a medal in speed skating last night.

I thought the Aussies had the Southern Hemisphere medal lead wrapped up but nope here come the Kiwis to make things interesting.

Unfortunately most Americans won’t be able to hear it because nbc isn’t showing the game.

We're so lucky to have CBC. But I think they're showing it on NBCSN in the states. I assume they're showing Lindsey Vonn and Mikaela Shiffrin in the Alpine Combined on NBC

Apparently it's on NBCSN but yeah that's nuts. What are they showing instead?

The atmosphere? It looks like there’s about 100 people there.

Yeah but no golds yet. What we need s for all the competitors ahead of the kiwi to all crash... or for a disgruntled millionaire to bail on his/her home country in favour of NZ.
