Default Connecting MacBook to home wireless

What am I doing wrong here?

I have a D-Link RangeBooster Wireless G Router (WBR-2310).

I have a laptop working off of it already. I set it up a few weeks ago, I just got my MacBook yesterday.

So I take it home, and the AirPort senses the wireless network. No problems so far, but the network is password protected, obviously. No big deal, I have the password, but it still wont connect.

It tries connecting, but quickly gives me a "Connection Timeout."

Do I have to change any of the settings?

Do you have MAC filtering turned on?

Try connecting the computer to the router using a LAN cable. Install any updates that you need and do a reboot. That *might* help.

Otherwise, try rebooting your router, changing the encryption protocol (WPA personal works for me), and disable anything like MAC filtering.

I had no problem connecting to a wireless network already setup on a PC, with my macbook...it detected the network and all I had to do was type in the password and bingo!

I would contact apple and see what they say.

Same thing with the macbook I just bought. It sensed the network typed in the password and it worked

Default New Problem

Alright, I was playing around with the settings and I got my Mac wrking perfectly.

But now my PC laptop is all screwed up.

It connects to the network just fine and gets good reception, but explorer cant open any web pages.

I checked the settings and the IP was reset to 0.0.0.

I've tried just about everything to find out the actual IP address.

Help me oh great CP!!
