i hate the leafs, but at this point, i would consider them the in the top 3 best teams in the NHL. They don't play a great game (ie. aren't defensively sound) but get the job done and come out of hte W more times than not. They also have an extremely solid top 9 forward group.

Tough test for the flames.

Go flames go
boooo leaves.

They have a good record at the moment but I don't think they'd necessarily be even a playoff team in the western conference.

This'll be a 5-3 Flames win.

Oilers fans will say they wore the Leafs down for us.

The ol Enmax Energy Board is a little low and lopsided. Apparently it's stuck on the way up to proper height. http://img.ly/wZxv

I don't think we'll win this one but I expect us to put up waaaay more of a fight than that team three hours up north.

Awesome. They should play with the clock like this every game.

This would obviously require the game to be rescheduled if they didn't get it fixed in time. I wonder how bad it is.

Looks like G Karri Ramo gets the start for #Flames against Maple Leafs. Same lineup as Saturday's win over Capitals.

Leafs have a lot of offensive weapons.

We have a thin defense and ok goaltending.

Leafs are going to score a minimum of 4 goals tonight.

Leafs goalies are playing out of this world. Both with save percentages over .930. I guess they haven't met the shooting percentage of Monahan (24%), Hudler (27.8%), and Cammalleri (30%). I just hope the Flames have 5 goals in them tonight.

Go Flames!

Interesting fact : Ramo vs Leafs: 2-0-2, 1.93 GAA, .934 sv%

Yikes, hopefully the Enmax energy board doesn't mess with Joe Colbornes game too much.

Well hopefully our Flames play some heads up hockey out there tonight with The Dion making his return to the Dome. We know how he likes the big hits.

The Leafs played the Oil last night and may think the Flames are easy as well.

Flames win 4-3.

Elliot Freedman was suggesting the Leafs will need to find one of the 8 teams with copious cap space to take Liles in the next few weeks and that Calgary was likely.

He also suggested that taking Liles and his $3.9M cap hit for this and the next two seasons would be quite a favour resulting in something else of value getting added for Calgary in order to make it work.

This is pretty much how the Flames have positioned themselves, but I guess three years is longer than I envisioned.

Is Liles decent enough to plug a spot for the next few years if the Flames got a 2nd and a solid prospect as well?

$3.8 isn't that bad a contract if he's better than the current bottom pairing for the next 30 months.

Go Flames!

Lets not press the panic button just yet..

We are going in with the same team as Saturdays 5-2 win over the Caps. I'm pretty sure the Caps have just as many if not more offensive weapons than the leafs.

I'm not saying they won't score 4+ goals tonight, but it's not something we have to expect with this D-core. Butler played a full season with top line minutes and didn't hurt us TOO bad (yes I know he had Bou covering his ass).

I'm hoping for a 5-3 win. Monahan 2g, Colborne 1g 1a, Wideman 1g, GlenX Empty netter

Representing the red white and gold from Kearl Lake. Gotta keep all these Leafs "fans" up here in check.

Bingo what else do you think we could get if we were to take Liles off their hands?
