No rush for the Canucks to come back down as it's not even the 10 game mark of the season. We want their lottery odds to be as bad as possible.

Canucks did the same thing in the first 20 games last year. Hopefully they'll build enough cushion that last place will be out of reach when they plummet.

Blues blow a 3-1 lead after 2 periods. How do you give up 4 goals after 2? This team is horrendous

Allen isn't helping, tonight I felt every shot was going to go in. He doesn't seem like the same goalie.

Allen is trending to be another Brian Elliott. Head case goalie being exposed because of bad defence infront of him.

The Capitals top powerplay unit struggles to enter the zone but once they do, they're deadly.

That's great to here some Flames love. It was the regional Flyers telecast, NBCS Philly.

Final scores and recaps
http://sportsstats.cbc.ca/news/NHL-R...ate=10-22-2018
https://scores.nbcsports.com/nhl/sco...p?day=20181022
The Avs just keep on rolling with Landeskog and Rantonen getting 2 points each. Varlamov faced 38 shots and is 4-0-0 so far this season. Elliot wasn't bad in net for Philly as he faced 32 shots.
The Hurricanes defeat the Red Wings 3-1 as special teams was the key in this game. Carolina was 2/3 on the PP and a perfect 4/4 on the PK. Martinook scored a SHG for the Hurricanes. Mrazek played well in net against his former team,, but, it was Howard who kept the score close has he stood on his head in the 1st and 2nd periods facing 36 Hurricane shots while his team only fired 12 shots on Mrazek.
The Jets like saving their energy for the 3rd period. More than half their goals have been scored in that period. The Jets scored 3 even strength goals in the 3rd period and then win it in OT 5-4. Scheifele had 2 goals and 2 assists.
The Capitals showed the Canucks that they are the SC champs. Ovechkin has 4 points along with Carlson and Backstrom with 3 points each

He was consistently good. He was a streaky goal scorer but most are. He was injured after a road game in Nashville last year and probably should have been shut down after that.
