Excellent value signing. He seemed to still have some juice in the tank.

He had a good season last year. I think he deserved another contract. Good for him, he's had a great career.

That being said, I won't be surprised if his performance really deteriorates this year.

He's got to be the best forward to never crack 50 points in a season, no? Creeping up on 700 points if he produces similar to last year. Heck of a player, one of my favorites, and he helped rob the filthy Oilers of a cup too.
