In their defense, I'm guessing most Oiler fans would even admit that their prospect depth at forward isn't too great. They have a couple potential studs on the blueline, and their best young forwards are already in the NHL. I don't see too many Oiler fans these days bragging about their prospect pool.

Poor Development Camp, poor first game. Not sure how he thinks he's a surefire to make the Flames when he's got a ton of kids trying to steal his job and he's not really showing why he should have it.
I didn't see him on the ice at all at all in the third. He's proven himself against this level of talent already so it seems like the coaches are giving the other prospects a closer look which is exactly what they should be doing.

I'm sure the Flames' management would be thrilled if Sven got a concussion or broke his arm in a game that means diddly-squat.

Wow, that's a heckuva shot from the point for Sieloff. Too bad he doesn't have any offensive upside.

Ferland really impressed me tonight, he has that potential to be a great player if it all works out.

As was said about, 2-1 and the third just started. You can see the box scores here: http://canucks.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=63786

I am sure Vancouver fans are excited. Horvat scored off of Shinkaruk a couple of minutes in.

Following up on Kehatch's post I came across the scoring summary, http://canucks.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=63786. Should be noted that Granlund posted 6 SOG tonight.
