Sean Donovan with the OT winner if I'm not mistaken.

LOL at the Oilers getting five or six games... I guess that’s the McDavid effect because it can’t be the fact they’re any good.

You're right, he scored it from Conroy and Gauthier, 66 seconds into OT as the Flames won 3-2. https://www.hockey-reference.com/box...403270CGY.html

The Oilers get 7 games on NBCSN. The Leafs are on 6 times, the Jets 5 times, Flames twice, Habs once, and zero times for the Canucks and Senators.
Here are all the teams totals. https://twitter.com/DimFilipovic/sta...25157560426496

If that happens, the Bruins-Flames pregame will start on the NHL Network.

Here's the NBC Sports link to their schedule. https://nhl.nbcsports.com/2018/08/13...c-tv-schedule/
Good to see the stupid "Wednesday Night rivalry" has been terminated. The USA Today link mentioned the change and the reason why. Sureloss has the link posted in the opening post of this thread.
“Rivalry Night was successful but some of (the rivalries) don’t have the juice they once did when we started this 12 or 13 years ago.” Sam Flood said, “Rivalry Night was successful but some of (the rivalries) don’t have the juice they once did when we started this 12 or 13 years ago.”

NBCSN is doing a lot of Wed. doubleheaders and Pierre McGuire will be working the "between the glass" western games. Brian Boucher will be doing the eastern games. Scroll down to the end of the article to read about the hockey stuff.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong but this was the last time we were on NBC, this happened: (I know we'll never be on NBC unless we make the Stanley Cup Final, but this is just me throwin' back. Would really love for our Flames to be on NBC. One day.)

Finally, would love for Doc Emrick to call one of our two games. Too bad, NBC wants him doing the popular teams. IIRC also this was the last time he called a Flames game:

It must've been very therapeutic for Noodles to end his career giving Franzen a whack. He did it not just for himself, not just for Kipper, not just for the Flames but for every goalie league wide!

NBCSN will be adding 2 games to its schedule. The unfortunate part is that a Flames game will be taken off and there will now only be one Flames game on NBCSN for this season (18-19).
"NBC Sports has announced that it has added a pair of games to its schedule on NBCSN for the final week of the NHL regular season. The St. Louis Blues will host the Colorado Avalanche on Monday, April 1, at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN, and the Boston Bruins will visit the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday, April 2, at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Additionally, NBC Sports has removed the Flames-Ducks game from NBCSN’s schedule on Wednesday, April 3."

Annoying but not surprised. I'd like to think if it was SJ/CGY or CGY/Veg that they would have kept. I am also hoping with this years success, plus a number of American stars, that maybe we'll get 4-5 games on NBCSN next season. I can't even begin to tell you how sick I am of watching these late season games with NJ or LA in them, while there are all these other top notch games taking place.

If the Flames end up playing Arizona in the playoffs - I can't imagine the channel those games will be on in the US. Those will be some hurting TV ratings.

They'd probably just leave that series to the local RSN in Arizona.

For those in the USA, game 1 of the Avs-Flames will have Gord Miller and Ray Ferraro calling the game.

Might have to check out a few NBC broadcasts, maybe the away games I'll watch the NBC feed and home games the Sportsnet feed. I like Miller and Ferraro
