Flames @ Capitals, 5:00 MDT. Sportsnet West, Fan 960
(a special shout-out to Bunk - I remembered to use daylight time )
The road to the playoffs takes the Flames away from home for a few nights, starting tonight in DC. They enter the City of Magnificent Intentions with a few intentions of their own - two points!
There's some big issues down Washington way recently, including Russians and "the swamp". That Darn Puppet decides to use one to eliminate the other:
Spoiler!
Go Flames

I think that this mini-bout of adversity has several silver linings.
1. Tkuchuk gets to rest his lower body a bit
2. Hathaway gets a rep or two
3. Ferland gets to rest his body period (hopefully no mumps)
4. Bennett gets a chance to boost his year with Backs and Fro (and we get to see him on the wing)
5. Lazar gets more reps
6. Team learns they can manage through adversity
Now maybe you don't want to have any adversity playing the Caps, but it is what it is.

Agreed, the suspension may be a blessing in disguise for Tkachuk. Also having a hungry Tkachuk against the blues will be fantastic.
I feel like Bennett's play with Backlund and Frolik will be a big factor in this game.
Of course, Gaudreau and Monahan could single handily win any game themselves but in case they don't have a dominant game hopefully the 3M - 1M + 1S Line doesn't skip a beat.
Tilley will be in the building! Behind the Caps' net 1st & 3rd period. Wearing the black flame-snotting horse jersey. I hope to avoid going 'full Northwestern kid' if the Flames struggle.
