Watching Massa argue with Johnny Herbert, Di Resta and Damon hill disagree. Interesting arguments all around. I tend to think Max didn’t deserve a penalty or anything but he definitely was either gonna crash or make Lewis back out. Totally agree in the “tactical foul” wording. If Lewis wants to get into a racing incident crash, let him. It helps Max more so why wouldn’t he be ok with it? He’d crash out with Lewis every race for the rest of the year if he could. Would mean guaranteed championship.
That’s the advantage of being ahead in the WDC, you can take those risks and leave it to the guy trying to catch you to have the onus to avoid the crash.
If Max backs out and goes over the curbs, he never catches Lewis and finishes behind.

I have nothing but contempt for TSN and there push to force people to pay more for 3-5 by putting an increasing number of live events on the upper channel. If they had hockey I’m sure every playoff game would be TSN 3-5 and 1-2 would show endless top 10 ____ half hours. You’ve think in an era where people are cutting the cord you wouldn’t give people a reason to cut it. I didn’t get it this year but next year I’m more likely to get the F1 channel.
Anyway, end rant, awesome day for McLaren and nice to see Williams in the points. Who wants to see Max and Lewis in a PPV boxing match post season?
Edit: also I recall there being discussion from Max’s last wreck about the team being in danger should there be another major rebuild. I feel like it was a cash issue. I’d need to find that video again but curious on the fallout. Also another great incident for the halo. That could have been bad otherwise.

Yeah, not watching on TSN is a great and correct decision.
As for the accident, I'm fine calling that one a racing incident. It was a weird bounce off the curb then ran up each others tires. Kinda BS that's a penalty
