It's a good thing Trump is on vacation, or he might actually do something bad here.

If Republicans really believed an armed society is a polite society, they'd have no problem with NK having nukes.

Where did you come up with that??? Trump is nothing like Goldwater or Reagan. Nothing. That's not even a good talking point to people who know nothing about American history or politics.

I remember when he came to power and people thought he'd liberalize the government because he was so young.

this Kim is more of a loose canon then his old man, and far more interested in holding onto power no matter what the cost.

I find it amazing that North Korea has accelerated their nuclear program as fast as they have. They've made amazing leaps in a short period of time with the development of long rang ICBM's and now they've crossed the major thresh hold of miniaturization of a war head.

While they're clearly far behind American and Russian missile technology, they're moving towards city busting capability.

If they create a force of lets say 12 large yield ICBMs and combine it with their artillery belt that could wreck Seoul it gives that regime a high level of security and a double blind defense.

I'm more interested in who is helping them in their missile program, I doubt that this is just North Korean engineers and scientists who were somewhat slow and made a lot of mistakes.

Suddenly that program shot forward.

As was mentioned earlier, it gives them some protection against attacks.
The Korean peninsula is a little more complex than that. Seoul is 35 miles from the DMZ, and NK has reportedly 13,000 artillery pieces on that border capable of hit all of the South Korean capital. Sure, NK may get crushed in a response, but they really don't care. The Dear Leader will be in his nuke proof bunker and he will have bloodied the nose of the US and laid waste to Seoul. The thought of engaging NK militarily has to come with the knowledge that a city of 12 million civilians is going to be indiscriminately shelled, resulting in possibly hundreds of thousands of casualties.

How much time do we waste addressing this kind of stupidity? You make up something, a few of us spend 10 minutes or so disproving it. Then you make up something else right after with a question mark asking us to do a bunch of work to disprove it again.

Why don't you do your own research and come back here with well-cited facts while drawing intelligent conclusions instead of asking us to present you with a bunch of information only to have you move the goalposts.

“North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States. He has been very threatening beyond a normal state, and as I said they will be met with fire, fury and frankly power, the likes of which this world has never seen before.” - Trump

Lol, switch around NK and US and it sounds just like Kim!
