I really wish they'd send Poirier back so he can help this team out.
Well, they did. He, along with a number of other newcomers, could be in the lineup for the Flames tonight. We now carry 16 Forwards (14 available with McGrattan's leave and VanBrabant's injury), 10 Defence (9 available with Culkin injury) and 4 goalies (3 available with Ortio's injury)
Coming into today's game, the Flames are 1 point behind Hamilton for the last playoff spot. Hamilton is also playing tonight, but they have a tougher opponent in San Antonio. With a win and a Bulldogs loss, we are in the playoffs.

Sieloff with a huge big open ice hit and forced to drop the gloves after making it.
It cheeses me off that Sieloff has to fight every rippin' time he hits someone. When the heck did this become the unwritten rule of hockey? I get it if someone runs a star. But every damn hit?
...and did he win his fight? Drury was saying he could really chuck em pretty good actually.
No, I'm only seeing 6 defence so he's a defenceman.
This is his fight from Wednesday:

He's getting passed on the depth chart due to injuries. I think this is his way of making himself known and fight (literally) for ice time. This is better then floating around when he did get ice time.
