I thought he was going to have a cardiac event pretty much every moment since they decided to climb the ski jump tower.

Rob & Corey and Greg & John should have a really great battle in the finale.
I am really happy the beards made it - i love those guys - but it would take a double disastrous turn of events for them to somehow beat both those top teams.
Have enjoyed the last several episodes much more than the first few.

Well...I'd been hoping for Rob & Corey to take it all, but honestly any of the three teams raced a good race and deserved a win.

Wow, that was quite the ending!

They were three great teams and any of them would have been deserving winners but yay Greg and John!

Glad I won the pool but I was really cheering for Corey and Rob. They were a great team. All three were actually.

I thought it was heartbreaking for my old bearded guys actually. They pretty much led throughout the final episode, and one small mistake the difference between $1M and 0

As has been said, three very likeable teams, and the best team won probably.

Yeah, for sure. When I typed that I wasn't at that part of the episode yet. It just suckes that R and C didn't start with the glass blowing.

Yeah, I think with the Scramble you want to go to the one most people are doing, so you can learn from their mistakes. I'm also wondering where the memory step was in comparison to the trapeze scramble over the glass blowing one as I suspect that R&C went from 'start' to 'middle' (trapeze) back to 'start' (glass blowing) to 'end' (memory challenge) while the other two basically made a straight line.

I wonder if we'll see Rob and Corey again? My wife was crushing all over Corey (as I'm sure many were). I'm certain they'll be on an all-stars edition, but I could see him on Survivor, or even The Bachelor if he wanted to go that route. I was rooting for them as well, but not surprised in the end that athleticism won the race.

The memory challenge was about 12 miles north of the city centre in Kenmore. The trapeze was south of the city centre, about 4 miles south of the Space Needle. The glassblowing was about a half mile south of the Space Needle and the stage set-up was another half mile south of that. Either way, the teams had to go south from the Space Needle, then back north to Kenmore.

Going all the way to the trapeze first likely cost Rob & Corey some time, but not likely so much to be the one thing that did them in. In fact, I'd say doing the trapeze without any other teams would be an advantage that could more than make up the travel time difference. It looked like there was only one trapeze, so multiple teams would have needed to wait their turns for multiple attempts, which would be a real time killer.

As it worked out, the other two teams arrived at the trapeze far enough apart that their attempts didn't overlap and neither team struggled with it as much as Rob did.

For those three challenges, I'd say there was an advantage to being at the stage set-up task along with the other teams because you could get clues from watching the other teams. The advantage to the trapeze would have been being there without any other teams to get unlimited attempts without waiting. I don't know if there would have been an advantage either way with the glass blowing. You would probably benefit more from the professional demos than watching another team struggle with the same thing you are.

I think with a scramble the best strategy is to start with the closest one. You don't know where you're going after the scrambles are completed, so going to the farthest and working your way back only helps if the next task is closer to the first scramble task. Sounds like it didn't matter in this one, with the next task being in the opposite direction. But without knowing that ahead of time, you could end up back-tracking a lot.
