Who the heck are these guys?
Very interesting time to be a flames fan. Conroy goes out and gets a bunch of no namers (for us) for very low prices but they are looking pretty good so far, making an impact right away and competing well.
Sharangovich - most of us disliked this one, who is this guy?? Now I’m fricken pumped about his goal scoring potential over the next years.
Pachal - who?? Oh a buried D in Vegas for free off waivers. Just simply comes over here and provides a stabilizing presence and fits like a glove in the #5-#6 spot.
Kuzmenko - ok maybe not a no namer but still this guy is making me forget about Lindholm pretty easily.
Greer - we got this guy for free too right?? Nice!
Miromanov - who? Oh another buried D guy in Vegas with some offensive pizazz? Jumps right to a line with Kylington?
Okhotiuk - now who the heck is this guy?? Oh he might have potential to be decent too? Sweet.
This isn’t even mentioning guys like Brustevich which I can’t spell yet but could be a gem too.
Color me impressed lately and even though I can’t spell any of the players yet, I’m getting a bit more excited about the future.
Oh yeah!
Hanley - only one game but he sure looked just fine on his first game. Another player for free off waivers! Beauty.

To me, Connie is really digging into his experience as an AGM when scouting was one of his main duties. I hope he continues to find these diamonds in a rough types.

kind of like a moneyball(puck) approach. I like it.
Conroy and Co seem to have a good eye for players so far. Hope it continues!

Older "big names" are way overvalued in today's NHL IMO
So many great kids coming from all.over these days, with the cap and contract limits good teams lose good players for nothing

Conny just on SN. Seems majorly relieved. Really complimented his team's help in getting this to the finish line. I have great hopes for the future of the Flames with him in charge.
