What a wasted year for that franchise. Stunned if they don’t have a new GM next season.

They realize Jake Allen has a .891 save percentage over his last two seasons (63 games) and is 33 years old right...

How is he an improvement on Vanecek (.903) or Schmid (.908).

And you're potentially trading a 2nd round pick for that honor....okay then.

It's trades like this that make me think sometimes "I probably could be a better GM than a lot of NHL GMs".

Because I've said this now Allen will probably go .920 the rest of the way and will look great because "Goalies are voodoo".

at best, he is a veteran backup. Has no impact on potential Marky trade this summer. Devils still need a starting goalie

Yikes... trading for the Habs 3rd string goalie who is declining and has never been good to begin with. Cayden Primeau has been outplaying him this year, that's a dumpster diving trade

What a bizarre move. Bargain bin hunting when you're supposed to be on the cusp of being a contender. That's one way to do it I guess.
