That sucks, I can see how a year like this one can really put a guy down.

Hopefully, he recovers quickly(and more importantly fully), and the stress of a new contract doesn't affect him as much.

The hopeful side of me thinks that he's going to come back as a better player out of this. He's already a great teammate and a good person.

Hate to see it get to this point, but glad he’s getting the help he needs and the Flames are supporting him through it.

He has definitely been off this year and it is unfortunate but hopefully he gets the help he needs.

I'm so glad players have the ability to do this.

Things definitely felt off with him this year. Glad he has the opportunity to take a step back and deal with his health issues. Hope he can get the help and support he needs to comeback to the team. He’s an excellent team guy and well liked amongst his peers. All the best Dillon.

That’s quite unfortunate to hear anyone going through this but hopefully it’s for the better and he recovers soon.

Take the time you need, Dillon. Hockey doesn't matter right now. Good luck.

Wishing him nothing but the best

I hope he hasn’t been reading anything on Twitter. Some fans forget it’s just a game.

While the timing may have nothing to do with each other, I wonder if seeing kylington return to the game after taking care of himself encouraged Dube to feel more comfortable seeking help.

It makes sense. That Team Canada thing must be a huge distraction and cause of stress. Lots of speculation and uncertainty and it just drags on and on.
