I love when things come out that make Urban Meyer look like a POS.
Warms the cockles.

Been listening to this on the radio yesterday afternoon and evening, and again this morning on the way in. It's pretty much dominating the airwaves south of the border and is a pretty big story. It's hard to see a way out of this for Meyer and unfortunately likely for his wife as well if the facts are what they seem. Both of them are bound by Title IX as employees of a publicly funded university and I would think Ohio State is under a lot of pressure as well. They have a history of doing the 'right' thing and have dismissed the two previous football coaches for misconduct so there certainly is precedent for that.

Yeah, it's pretty easy to dismiss Jim Tressel. We'll take a wait and see on their approach to dealing with a coach that's giving them real success.

Sure, after he punched a kid on television. I’m biased but Ohio state isn’t exactly a clean program. They’ll fire Urban if there’s enough public pressure or if his breaking of Title IX rules required it but they’re not going to just because it’s “the right thing to do”. They knew what they were getting when they hired him.

Well if they were going to fire him, they would have already. The paid leave pretty much tells you that unless we get a Ray Rice moment here, he'll be their coach until he fakes a heart attack to go to Notre Dame.

Well since he's such an honorable, believable man, wrap it up I guess

If Ryan Smith wasn't the grandson of Earl Bruce then Dirtbag Urban likely never has anything to do with him after 2009.
Patheic that ####bags OSU fans are defending Dirtbag Urban, Zach Smith, and bashing some woman who got beat up. Morons.

This is wild. Jeff Snook, the Ohio State reporter who did the report on Courtney Smith's mom just dropped this: He claims Tom Herman was the one who tipped off Brett McMurphy on the original story.
Thats nuts if true. If the news about Tom Herman is true, my biggest question is why did he tell a reporter instead of the authorities? And why did he wait so long?

I'm surprised he even got three games, including an actual loseable game against TCU.

The good stuff. Which are the good games? I see a lot of big point spreads tomorrow (plenty -15, some -25, and Ohio State -38.5).
Auburn vs. Washington looks like a good match-up.

Big spreads are still better than no games for degenerates!!!
Auburn-Washington is the best matchup of Week 1 though, ND-Michigan might be entertaining if only for gambling purposes.

Auburn/Washington for sure.
Michigan vs Notre Dame is the highlight for me. West Virginia/Tennessee could be ok. I’ll also like to see Bama against Louisville, even if it is likely to be a blowout.
Then Miami/LSU Sunday and Florida St/Virginia Tech Monday. Both are great matchups. Of course tsn won’t show the Monday game because they’re morons. But at least they’ll join in progress it looks like. Better than nothing.

Too many in the sports media are picking Michigan to win this game on the strength of their defence for my liking. Make or break for Harbaugh you’d think, if he’s the quarterback whisperer then Patterson should be legit. If he is maybe Michigan can actually play up to expectations. Tariq Black being hurt doesn’t help any though.
Not that I think Harbaugh would get fired but the takes are going to be surface of the sun hot if Michigan has another 3 to 4 loss season.
