I'll say this. I know damn well this will P a few people off but IDGAF.
The vegas knights played the misfit role well in the inaugural season and did something we hadn't really seen.....maybe we can do the cast-offs with seemingly everything to prove show their former teams hey....see I can fill a role quite well Thankyou very much . Conroy trying things we Haven't seen ever here might seem desperate to others but there's some brilliance in it too.
We just lost a brilliant statistical guy who rubbed off a bit on Craig and company. Behind the scenes how do we know there aren't a bunch of guys sitting around a table crunching numbers , talking it out with the occasional squabble, but getting right down to who's got experience over guys were cooking on thr Wranglers, in the Ncaa , echl that can play RIGHT now.

The team just seems to be playing better overall too. Maybe there isn't as much pressure? Maybe whatever negative influence or conflict that was going on in the locker room is gone? It's just a more fun group to watch. They look like they are having fun.
Conroy formula:
- Players in early 20s
- Players cast off from other teams or buried behind good players
- Player must be foreign (Russia/Czech) or at least have a name that is hard to spell
- Player with something to prove
- Player with a positive attitude that wants to be here
