Thoughts on Bieksa as a TV personality? I feel like he’s got natural talent for the role and brings some much needed humour and personality but man I just can’t get past the valley boy accent.

I’ve gotten used to Bieksa’s accent. And over the years more recently I’ve soured on Friedman because his ego grew a bit (Lebrun being the absolute worst) but he’s been put in his place by Bieksa enough that he doesn’t take himself seriously and occasionally throws it back at him which is fun. Botterill I don’t mind at all. I figure she’s had very limited training and from that perspective I’d say she’s doing great. Recently they’ve been giving her the softballs though and so it’s just obvious cliche lines which kinda sucks for building her credibility.

I hate to say it but Colorado has had bounces against them. Win or lose they’re the best built team in the league to me. Tampa doesn’t count because of their cap toeing.

Leafs are the best built team that can't get out of the first round.

Hockey totally has a big luck factor involved but if you are a great team you should be able to overcome bad bounces in a 7 game series.
