Still expressing my interest in paying for ad-free.

I suppose I can donate a sum too but I'd be interested in helping make the site ad-free. Perhaps an annual January drive to raise website operating costs? The website has plenty of value for me to make an annual donation to keep it clean and efficient (and less of a financial burden).

The lack of any kind of "official" response is a little disappointing. Pretty much stopped coming here on my phone because it's so disruptive.

On another note, it may be unrelated but on my iPhone when I go to touch a tab (not sure what to call them) it shifts and my finger touches the wrong thing.

Maybe this needs an example. I go to touch New Posts and the screen content shifts and I touch Forum Rules, for example. Anyone else?

I can easily have my entire phone screen taken up by an ad:

Chrome on PC - the ad bar at the bottom used to be semi-transparent but now it's an opaque sliding tab that blocks a random amount of the screen depending on the type of the ad. Half the time I don't even know what they say because they're in French or Chinese.

Surely we can crowdfund enough money so Bingo can ditch the ads altogether?

Maybe we should start reporting posts in this thread to get some eyes on it? When it was brought up in the trade discussion thread Bingo got pretty angry that it wasn't being addressed in the proper place.

I do believe this is the proper place to address it but there doesn't seem to be any attention being paid. Even a "that's the ads now shut up and deal with it" would at least show it's been brought to the owner's attention.

What the hell, on top of these ads taking over my phone screen, there's now some with sound? And I can't get to the button to mute it because it's small and close to the edge.

That was me who he snapped at lol. Said I was baiting. I really wasn't doing anything I saw he was replying so I brought it up. He said himself he doesn't read other parts of the fourm.

I said fix the ads, not get rid of them. I love the lounge underwear ads on the side.

I'm usually on my desktop, so it doesn't affect me most of the time. The times I browse with my phone are a frustrating experience though.

You just need the adblock extension and any browser works fine, but it defeats the purpose of the ads. So I guess inevitably ad revenue decreases and then we arrive back at the crowd-funding suggestion. So what’s the magic number that makes running this site possible without ads?
