Very important win to stop the bleeding. Can't say Ward didn't change his patterns and shorten his bench...but Lindholm playing 27 minutes and Gio and Rasmus playing 25 apiece isn't sustainable either.
Hopefully this swings momentum and the Flames can build on this win but it will take a long stretch of consistent play to rouse my confidence in this team again.
I agree with your sentiment but it was actuallly the apologists who brought it into this thread first by calling out all the missing regular posters tonight.
It happens both ways. Some posters only show up after wins, some only after losses.
There wasn't any need to bring the coaching debate into a happy PGT at all.
Why the hell do fans only come to post after losses? Where is the fun in that? I have started avoiding PGT discussions following a loss because of how toxic they have become; so what's the excuse for using CP only as a place to vent one's vitriol? That actually strikes me as rather unhealthy, and most definitely unpleasant for the rest of the community.

The Flames out chanced the Oilers pretty badly on Saturday but if someone brought that up in the PGT they would have been mocked off the board. It goes both ways, so when they win one and get slightly out chanced by the top team in the div. don't be crying that they got lucky.
The Flames actually finished some chances, Leafs? not so much
Goalies are supposed to make saves too, it is their job

its funny when opposing fans are crying for suspensions after every game and nothing is ever even worthy of a look from the league. I have had Oiler fans tell me Bennett would be gone for a few after that shoulder to shoulder hit.
