Yeah I 100% want a pack of these when it’s all said and done. Just knocking them out of the park.

I was on the beach in Ko Tao Thailand. My buddy and I listening to Peter call the game. I believe the Tahi's thought we were nuts high fiving and screaming as the Flames came roaring back. Such a great memory in a time like this.

Thanks Scorp!

Really glad you guys are enjoying them. My plan is to have a few more out today -- maybe a couple more of the main set. The 40 Years cards are becoming really fun to make and I'm open to any ideas. The only inhibitor might be finding appropriate pictures for older moments -- I already explored finding pictures of Joey Mullen's 50th goal and Lanny's 500th and wasn't super successful.

I definitely want to include a couple more moments from 2004 and maybe 2015 as well. Monty will be getting a card. I'll create checklists for both sets at the end of things, too.

There were a bunch of great pics in the “iconic flames photo” thread, might be some good old ones. First one that comes to mind for me (although not old) is Stajan sniping on miller.

Although I'm not typically one to divulge my super-secret plans, I can assure you that Stajan will have at least one card.

Not sure how I'll handle Phaneuf, either. I can see multiple cards there too, maybe.

See that's the downfall of hockey cards, IMO, and is still an issue today. Cards are just too busy. That would be an awesome card they took off all the fluff and just left the Nieuwy action shot (which is a great shot!).

What do you think of my designs? I tried not to make them too busy but I'm not sure if I was successful? I tried taking some elements from some of my favourite cards growing up.

I'd appreciate honest critique!

I think they look great, you're doing a great job. Only suggestion would be not to forget the entire 40 years, for us older gents...

Absolutely, I might need some help coming up with moments though. I have some plans for Chouinard, Lanny, Mullen, Killer, MacInnis, etc but I might need some suggestions for moments from 1981, 1986, and so on and so forth.

I would suggest Fleury's 91 Overtime goal with "the slide". They lost the series, but was a huge goal.

Are you making a Steve Smith "own goal, Edmonton sucks" card? LOL

Of course Lanny McDonald sometime in 89.

What about a "50 goal club" card? We only had 8 IIRC (Iggy twice).

I would have suggested this as it’s my favourite goalie moment.... but I can not for the life of me find a decent photo of it. I’ve debated commissioning an artist to paint one for me as I love it so much.

Kipper on wellwood though.... yowza.

Working on a spreadsheet right now for the series.

Fair warning... it's looking like it might grow to over 100.
