The Oilers have surrendered +40 shots in three of their last five games.

Lol, Burke ripping into the Oilers for how awful they were tonight despite the win. They have a tough schedule coming up:

Knights
Jets
Isles
@ Flyers
@ Caps

With how badly they've been outplayed lately, I could see them getting lit up over this next week.

The Oilers have been garbage for a while, but to their credit finding their way to win games. If you look at everything this is a 70 80 point team getting a lot of bounces and luck.

I guess the broadcasters are in on the lets get Connor more trophies as they heroically talked about him fighting the flu tonight.

Gag worthy.

Yeah, a lot of those teams will not toy around, and aren't low on skill like the BJs right now.

Give up 40+ pucks to the Flyers or Caps and they are going to rack up 7 or 8 on Smith/Koskinen.

Well, the Flyers already outshot the Oilers 52-22 this season and lost 6-3. #### this season can't end early enough for those turds.

Just the oiler way. Play 5-20 mins a game and win the game.
But the Flames are the team with "horseshoes up their @$$"...

If I lose out on first place in my hockey pool (and the extra $100 that would come with that) because this dweeb Eichel decided to take two weeks off, I’m selling his jersey to make up the difference. Anyone interested? Replica road white, barely used as the team has never given me anything to celebrate or be proud of.

I love watching this Bruins get pushed around. Marchand being thrown around in the corner and Chara being cross checked in the back are particularly satisfying.

Final scores

http://sportsstats.cbc.ca/news/NHL-R...ate=03-07-2020

The Flyers continue their winning streak to 9 games as they defeated the Sabres 3-1. Both teams couldn't score on the PP, but, the PK for each team was perfect. The Sabres simply can't score on the PP, they are 0/17. Carter Hart made 38 saves and Giroux had 2 goals.

The Devils win again, this time against the Rangers 6-4. They are a spoiling bunch as Shesterskin let in 5 goals and was pulled after the second period in favour of Lundqvist. The Rangers remain 3 points back of a playoff spot.

The Predators know how to shut down the Stars. They shut them out again for the 2nd game in the home/away series, this time 1-0 in Dallas. Saros gets the 37 save SHUTOUT as he was in net for both games. The Stars switched and had Bishop in net for this game. Ellis scored the only goal on the PP in the 2nd period. The 5 way battle for the last 2 playoff spots in the western conf. continues.

No Ovechkin, no problem. The Capitals cruise to a 5-2 win over the Penguins and that puts the 2 teams 5 points apart in the eastern conf. standings.
