And that didn't work out well for the Flames. It threw off team chemistry when Lombardi and Prust were dealt.

I'll be giving Treliving a solid D grade over the last year - year and a half, and a C for his tenure as the flames GM.

Brutal. Wasted picks on depth D and the team looks like they are going nowhere. This team needed a shakeup they will be lucky to be good enough to get beat in the first round.

Bled assets for depth pieces again. That's just his MO, and it's why our prospect pool is near the bottom of the league.

Should have been selling our RFAs/UFAs. Now, either they walk for nothing, or we re-sign them preventing us from going after what the team really needs in order to improve.

Either that or draft picks.
Hopefully the Flames can at least re-sign their pending UFA's so they don't waste more assets again next year.
Overall it seems like pretty terrible asset management.
