Yes BT made a gamble. If Kyrou turns out it’ll be a lopsided trade. Yes the flames needed a goalie however Elliot wasn’t the one. Time will tell.

From the all star break he has been a different player and the question is is it personal or is it team related or is it injury. Whatever the case it has been 2 years and a couple of coaches and he does not have the drive thats obvious.

This is a deep draft and unless JG is at his absolute best this team is not just not going to make noise in the playoffs it might not make the playoffs at all in spite of good goaltending.

Look at what zucker got and tell me that couldnt help shore up some of the problems on the back end and tell me this team is going against boston or the avalanch as constructed with or without JG.
