This might be the best-looking crop of wingers we've had since we made the final in 2018. I think it would be beneficial if we were able to shift all our existing centres down a slot, but otherwise, the forwards look good.

The defense is a work in progress. Schultz, Simek, and Demers are all #4-type guys. Hunt is a bottom-pairing PP quarterback. Guhle is a kid who hasn't found a niche yet, Hickey has a terrible, terrible contract and barely played this year, and Sekera is a shell of what he used to be. In short -- we'll be looking to add pretty substantially there.

We love Francouz and we plan to keep him in our fold, but we need another goalie after dealing Schneider at the TDL.

And, most uniquely, we have a ton of picks at our disposal for once!!!!

I will be looking to move the following:

McDavid or Hischier - looking for high end prospects or picks. Will only be moving one of these guys and obviously McDavid would take a lot.

Pastrnak or Gallagher - Kane is a pending UFA so he can’t be dealt. We have a log jam on RW. Will be keeping one of these guys as my 2nd line RW. The other is gone. Will take a very high end youth package to move Pasta.

2 of Provorov, Karlsson or Pietroangelo - will need one of these guys on the top pairing. The others can go. More inclined to keep Petro as I like his defensive game. But will move whatever guys bring the best return. Looking for high end youth and picks.

Sign him to a cheap 3 year deal and it'll pay off in the last 2 years as he had an injury filled season. Should still have a decent 3rd line rating too. Brings physicality and two way play, he was a stud for me after I acquired him.
