They really aren’t. Calgary hadn’t even made the POs for years in 04. Florida was first place the year before. Calgary’s overachieved just to make the POs that year. Fla underachieved in the regular season. They should have been in easily. Calgary rode an unknown goalie, Fla has one of the highest paid goalies in the league.

I've just enjoyed watching the Panthers along the way because of how much fun their run was up to this series. Really, it was an incredible run through the East with amazing playoffs moments.
But, Vegas have played a fantastic series against them, and while Vegas is a stacked team, they aren't a team that's really unlikable. They're not dirty. They don't come across as arrogant. They just play great hockey
We got to see a really fun run by an underdog team, and we get to see a very likable team of players playing excellent hockey win the cup. That's all good.

Oof...watching those Panther's player faces. Tough pill to swallow after battling so hard all playoffs. They deserve an attaboy from somebody.

Lol, the entire arena stopped cheering when they won the cup so they could fillm the moment. Almost all 18000 of them. I hate that aspect of concerts/sports so much.
