You missed 2 PPs for Las Vegas, 3 PPs for Florida, and 4 goals for Las Vegas.

I wonder how Maurice is going to reel his team back into this.

Regular season MVP finalist, 22 points for Chucky in the playoffs, several OT and game winning goals, likely finalist for the Conn Smythe, and now he’s a dumbass and suddenly the trade doesn’t look so bad?
Wow some crazy takes tonight.

That’s his problem though. Same thing with punching the guy in the face in last game’s scrum. He was playing with a good edge while they were rolling and is now doing dumb ####. He did it while he was with the Flames and he is continuing it here. Last year he injured himself with useless fights against Klingberg.

Are you referring to the crosscheck to the back of the head of a player on the ice and the blatant retaliatory crosscheck after a sweet reverse check? C'mon....
As for Tkachuk, it seems like the result of his usual implosion/tantrum when things don't go his way.

No I don't think that's what is being said.
He has controlled himself for the playoffs but he's gone back being involved and dumb in scrums and being extra in this series.
Maurice needs to rein him in but it's going to be hard because he doesn't seem to have control of his team.
Even worse here his team follows his behaviour and gets suckered into being dumb.

I was going to suggest Barkov rein him in but we saw what happened with Giordano.

He sits because he re-engages in the scrum after the ref had pulled him away and then he goes and grabs Pietrangelo from behind.
Panthers issue right now is they aren't being pests but trying to be bullies. Rounds 1-3 they would play physical but were mostly staying away from the between whistle stuff.
Tkachuk should have done what Hague did last game and just laugh as guys tried to come after him and punch him. They would have gotten a PP out of it.
Key rule in hockey is to never be the one to escalate the scrum...that's how you get the penalty. Panthers are the ones escalating every scrum right now, and Tkachuk especially doesn't seem to know when to listen to the refs and stop.
These refs are clearly fed up with Tkachuk at this point and he needs to be smarter and pick his spots better. His stuff with Hill and trying to take out his leg was Embarassing too. All that stuff adds up.

Tkachuk: (to the ref) I am Mathews freaking Tkachuk, no one can tell me to stop, NOT even you!
Ref: Ok, that's it, you are outta here!

Don’t think you’ll be seeing any antics from Gudas for a while. He was in La La land.

He's been 3rd man in 2 games in a row. It's gutless but not sneaky. Dude is all about himself which is maybe enough to win but it's not happening this year and I don't like his chances going forward on that team.

Well, Kadri is actually pretty good at that himself...
