That’s a period that didn’t start out great where we saw our goalie make a few saves, and then counter-punched nicely.

Ya unfortunately the fourth line has not been good. Ritchie actually adds a lot of speed and energy to that line.

Sutter knows a thing or two about production in the AHL vs NHL.
Rooney, Lewis, and Lucic = 4 goals and 13 points in 64 total games.
Absolutely atrocious

It's not about just their game tonight they've been somewhat better here, it's the balance of the rest of the season they've been mostly anywhere from lacklustre to piss poor. Lewis, not so much but Lucic & Rooney have really sucked ass.

I still think this whole talk that the Flames are built to win now and there was no room for Valimaki is bull#%^*.
“Built to win”…one game over .500, where we’ve been playing Mackey, Gilbert, and Stone.
Flames screwed the pooch with another 1st round pick (I believe Valimaki will have a good career).
Flames messed up. You move on and everything, but mistakes are mistakes.

Valamaki did himself no favours with his play in the pre season. Sutter didn't gave a lot of players a fair shot but if you saw how bad he was he was never making this team.

I was really hyped on Valimaki but he looked terrible every game he played in. We will see but I think he tops out as a 5/6
