Car Mechanic Simulator?

I mean, I understand the simulators for unrealistic fantastic things like building whole cities or amusement parks or whatever. But isn't tinkering around with cars something pretty much anyone can do in real life?

The game simulates more than tinkering. You run a mechanic's shop, and a lot of the cars featured are beyond what the average person can afford.

You can put on skates and play hockey in real life too, but lots of people play the NHL series.

I don't have the money to do some of the things you can in the game. I agree it sounds dumb but it's really fun
