The Star Trek series contained at least one very good movie. That alone puts it above Star Wars, which had 1 ok movie and 2 not so great ones.

I'd say Star Trek #2 is worse than TFA, but definitely in the same category.
The first Star Trek reboot movie was a genuinely good movie.

When my wife wanted to watch all the new Star Treks with me, I was able to get through Into Darkness without much trouble. It's not a good movie, but there are some great set pieces and it at least kept my attention. There is no way I will ever watch Last Jedi or Rise of Skywalker again, there's just absolutely nothing redeeming about them. Force Awakens is ok, but what's the point of a re-watch when you know the followups are garbage?

I don't know what look they are going for, but it looks awkward. The eye coverings are weird. The low budget suit is weird. The bike is, Ok, I guess?

Are they trying to make the new Batman movie about Bruce just starting out as a crime fighter, thus the low budget armor and gadgets? Did they forget the whole billionaire with unlimited resources angle? Or that he spent years training abroad and hits the ground running as Batman as soon as he returns to Gotham?

It's just a stunt suite that's not actually Pattinson, hence it won't look as good as the finished product. The cowl isn't the same as the reveal that Reeves posted, this one is probably easier to drive a motorcycle in. They will probably CGI in the cape, and touch up the suite after filming is done.

It looks like a cheap put together suit, which might be sort of the story. No need for the damage control, Nadal Fan.

This was definitely the vibe I was getting. Kind of a Batman Year 1 story, hence why they chose such a young actor to play Batman.
But Nadal Fan does have a point, about the way things look on screen and in person. For example, they often use spray painted plastic instead of actual metal in movies. I'm also guessing that most of the movie will be filmed in relatively dark settings.

It could be both.
If it’s based off the source material that’s been rumoured, then it definitely is year one type stuff.
But we’ve also seen some pictures from other superhero movies that just look awful. Then they look great on film.

This thread has a cyclical nature really. It's mostly Nadal posting and hyping up weird looking super early leaks or rumors of DC movies in production, then everybody making fun of him and DC. Then we all talk about a real trailer or movie that comes out, and repeat the Nadal thing a few more times. Times infinity.

Presumably it'll be about Superman destroying Cities and killing people but actually in the correct context?

I thought it was about Superman having a son who was a ginger with no soul and it ultimately drives him insane so be goes on a massive killing spree.

Is Batman still the most popular superhero? 10 years ago there was no doubt in anyone's mind he was. Just came off The Dark Knight and we were still 2 years away from another billion dollar solo outing in The Dark Knight Rises. But today trends move quick and fast forward 10 years is he still the king? Judging by the response of Ben Afflecks Batman (I liked him but not so many of the general population did) and the general malaise surrounding Robert Pattinson's Batman I question his status as the top bat. Since really 2012 when Avengers hit, Marvel superhero's have become insanely popular and I wonder if an Iron Man or Captain America is now the most popular hero. Heck I even question if the new Batman will make more at the box office than Wonder Woman 84 he may not even be the most popular hero in DC anymore.
So my question is who is the world's most popular superhero today?

I think the top 4 most popular superheroes have been the same 4 for a long time:
1. Spiderman
2. Batman
3. Superman
4. Wolverine
E: I think the popularity of Ironman is too tied to the strength of Robert Downey's performances and MCU to really consider the character to be popular on his own and will slowly slip back to being the 'A/B' Tier character that he was before (where the above listed characters plus Deadpool would be the whole of the 'S' Tier characters).
