Sounds like the Eagles are going to be without Jeffrey, Jackson, and Goedert again this week. Take the under.

I assume never lost outright. The question is, what is the sample size. It's possible that there have only ever been a dozen teams who have been favoured by that much.

I will take the Patriots to mercilessly dismember a Division opponent at home. Especially the Jets who once tried to make Bellichick their head coach without knowing that he wanted the New England job more.
I don't trust the current Cowboys to avoid shooting themselves in the foot and come away with a 10 point win.

As much as I hate to say it, I think the Cowboys are pretty good this year and the schedule has been set up nicely for them to get off to a fast start.

Way way back when in the early days of Sport Select when I started playing around 1992, I recall the LA Rams proline odds to beat 10-2 SF were 9.20. Odds for a Jets or Miami win is 7.00 this week, which is about the equivalent.
Those were the days the hockey odds were very good, not this 1.55 stuff, 3.10 or 3.20 for a slight underdog to win a game, and especially ties were around 4.90.. And the list came out early in the week so if there was an injury during the week, the odds didn't get adjusted for the weekend games. Good times.

I remember the Sens in their first ever game went off as 9.2 to 1 dogs on Sports Select against the Habs, and of course that game was their peak. I cannot remember the 3 other games I bet, but I was buying beer for the whole dorm (luckily, it was the grad dorm and fairly small)...

Since 1993, only seven NFL games have closed with a point spread of 20 points or higher and those teams are 7-0 straight up, but just 1-6 against the spread.

I parlayed 4 games I am pretty confidant about and threw on the Cowboys and Patriots with the points to grow the total.

Three years in a row of this ####. I'd like to blame the medical staff but they brought in an all new staff this year after the debacles of the previous two seasons.

Quote:
PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia Eagles canceled practice Wednesday in favor of a walkthrough, as they deal with a rash of injuries in front of their Week 3 home game against the Detroit Lions.
"Number one, with the guys that are a little nicked up who have a chance to play in this football game, I want them to get the rep in practice. Normally we go a padded day," said coach Doug Pederson, suggesting there are injured players who would not be able to practice Wednesday under normal circumstances.

If player safety was a real concern they would do away with Thursday night games, and have the teams who play the traditional Thursday Thanksgiving games, have a bye the week before that game.
But we all know it's not, and what was I going to do on Thursday...watch baseball? No, I'll probably watch an awful football game.

Yeah, but would you watch this if it was the Monday Night game? Granted TNF has the mandate to feature every team so you do get bad matchups. Than again outside of 6-7 games MNF looks pretty dreadful this year.
Gardiner Minishew is a guy I'll at least want to watch for a series or too.
The Titans at best are a pretty bland group to watch, even if they are at least a competitive football team.
