Still think it would be better without the horse head, but as far as black uniforms go, it's looking pretty decent there. Glad it's clean and, apart from the horse head, doesn't look tacky. With a white flaming C on the chest and the horse head as shoulder patches it would be about as good a job of a black retro set as could be hoped for.

Allegedly top 5 in sales among the new retros. So the decision to bring back Blasty probably went better than expected. I’m pretty indifferent as I think the red retros are the best in the NHL. But always good to have more choice.
Glad to see Blasty back but a little disappointed they didn't really follow the brief. The new Blasty jersey is basically a remix, not a reverse. So, that got me thinking about what an actual reverse Blasty would be. How about a black horse instead of a tan horse? On a red 2004 jersey.

It's like, how much more black could Blasty be and the answer is none. None more black.
Same. Can't wait to wear one of these to a game, cheering until my voice is horse.

I was a big supporter of bringing back BLASTY. And I gotta say, that after seeing a few different samples of the full set on players that they look better than I imagined they would!

I wish they would have at least chosen a different shade of red. Perhaps the shade on their classic jerseys.
A ton of teams use black, white and red.
The Flames are supposed to be slightly different because the red is more of a fire-red that than a deep red (and because they use yellow).
