Y: The Last Man takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where a cataclysmic event has killed every mammal with a Y chromosome but for one man, Yorick Brown (Ben Schnetzer), and his pet monkey Ampersand. The series follows Yorick as he traverses the new world as its survivors struggle with their losses and attempt to restore world society, led by Yorick's mother and incumbent U.S. President Jennifer Brown (Diane Lane).

The trailer looks great. I love the comic series. They've got a lot of great storylines to pull from so hopefully they're able to tell the whole story before the series ends.
The safe way to look at these projects is to just assume they're going to #### everything up until they don't... I mean, speaking of converting graphic novels to the screen, they're making a Sandman TV show.
Just don't think about it.

Yeah that exceeded my expectations. Not perfect, thought it felt a bit uneven at parts and I am not a fan of the “ripped from the headlines” approach they took for politics but overall it was quite strong.
I had read they made significant changes from the comic and it’s probably been a decade since I’ve read it but so far I think they’ve done a good job.
I'm 5 episodes in, I've read the source material so I know where this is all going and winding up...and I'm very much on the fence about sticking with this. The pacing is just not doing it for me.
