Nope, opening is the 26th, but there are shows on the 25th as well.

Well this just worked or wayyy better for me. Before I was going to have to cram it into a Friday night, now i can make a full day of it work.

Starting on April 23, AMC will show all 22 MCU movies in a massive Marvel movie marathon that asks the true diehards to prove their fandom once and for all by sacrificing sleep and body hygiene.
Yeah, not to mention that the people who would likely be interested in that sort of event are not exactly known for good personal hygiene in any circumstance.

It reminds me of when Return of the King came out and you could watch all 3 in a row and it was insane then and its worse now, this is just pure madness.
By the time you actually get to the movie you want to watch you're going to be so sick of it.

59 hours? That's got to be at least 10 hours of cringe worthiness in there. Iron man 2 and 3, scarlet witches accent in age of ultron, the edward norton hulk, etc. Just not worth it.
I re watched GOTG 2 the other day, man what a great movie that was. I wasn't a huge fan of the first one, but really appreciated its character and world(universe) building for the second.
Father and Son by Cat Stevens over top of the Yondu tribute at the end was just the icing on the cake, so well done.

A curated version of that marathon would look something like this...
Iron Man 1
Thor 1
Captain America 1
Avengers 1
Winter Soldier
Guardians 1
Avengers 2
Civil War
Doctor Strange
Spider Man Homecoming
Black Panther
Thor Ragnarok
Infinity War 1
Captain Marvel
... Which is a much more manageable ~28 hours.

Yes, I finally met the other person that thinks GOTG2 is significantly better than the first one.
Justice League vs The Fatal Five is another great animated movie by DC. It's a throwback for fans of the Bruce Timm era of DC shows. It's basically Justice League Unlimited. It features many of the same voices from the 90s/00s.

I managed to get Thursday night tickets but they were up near the front so I let them go. Took another hour but still managed to get Friday night tickets.

It looks completely different from anything we've seen so far, except maybe Logan.. and I welcome that.
These one off unique interpretations are very intriguing, especially with a talented actor.
While watching that trailer I thought man this movie is weird, and sick, and twisted... and perfect for the real Joker.

Hard to believe this is the same director as the Hangover series, Old School, Starsky & Hutch, etc. Completely different tone from the rest of his movies. Though I really enjoyed War Dogs despite hating Miles Teller.

Man I can't stand him, he will ruin Top Gun 2 for me I just know it.
Hopefully his fate is the same as his Dad's in the movie.
