I knew he'll be back. He was very good during the training game and pre-season games. Only problem right now is finding a spot for him on a regular roster. Both Daniels, Jorden and McDaniel are safe. Even though Finch is a running back they can't give Begelton his import spot on offense. Only way I can see is to drop one import player on OLine.

Amazing guest, I think this was his third appearance in the basement.
Topics of discussion
What he does to improve himself
Talks about how things work with the injuries
The Messam ejection
Hair care
His connection and love for the special Olympics

The Montreal Curse, its a real interesting discussion.

Boykon had been around but got passed by any newcomer, cant stick around if youre always the last guy on the depth chart at his age.
D'Aguilar, I can see being brought back again if he doesnt sign elsewhere and or injuries hit again. He led the team out against Hamilton, really respected guy in the locker room.
Odiasse has been awful whenever called upon, he was a standout in the camp but one of those guy who couldnt translate it when lights came on.
With more guys coming off IR, wouldnt be surprised if couple more guys get released in the coming week.

Good, as more players return this team gets stronger, and I'd like to have that pressure against the Lions if Jennings is playing, he's not dealing with it too well this year.

I came into the locker room and saw they had 31 and thought ‘that’s pretty fitting,'" Butler said after his first practice with his new teammates. “You go through the NFL, and (after) getting cut a few times, and I’m not going to keep changing the number.”
Butler was added to the Stampeders practice roster on Tuesday morning, but he may not stay there for a long.
Before making the move north, Butler was already training in his hometown of Jacksonville, Fla., hoping to land another shot in the NFL. Unfortunately, the opportunities he was offered didn’t seem to provide viable pathways to actually playing football, so he spoke with his wife and decided to give the CFL a shot.
It couldn’t have been an easy decision, as the Florida native keeps busy off-the-field running the Mario Butler Foundation, which provides scholarships, camps and mentorships to children in his hometown.

– While Bo Levi Mitchell is dealing with arm soreness, the Stampeders say they don’t believe it’ll hold him back (Kristen Odland, Calgary Herald).
– Also on the Stamps’ injury front, Dave Dickenson believes both Jerome Messam and Charleston Hughes will be available to play on Saturday (Daniel Austin, Calgary Sun).
– There’s a chance Josh Bell could be back in the lineup when the Stamps play Toronto on Saturday. Also back on the field: Deron Mayo, Dexter Janke and Adam Thibault (Kristen Odland, Calgary Herald).

So the receiving corp that the Stamps roll out tonight may be as weak as any in the last....15 years?
Out: Daniels,. Durant, Jorden
IN: Begelton, Brescasin, Kohlert, Lynch, Michel, Parker, and McDaniel.
Beyond Marquay, there isnt a whole lot there though Michel has showed signs of brilliance at times. Messam and Finch will probably get lots of short/swing passes out of the backfield, and then hope one of the other guys steps up and makes some plays.
