Default Peter's Drive-In changed their fries... nooooooooooooo

No more fat, golden french fries.

New fries are super skinny, with the potato skin still on them.

I am a sad panda.

As long as they keep the ecoli in their milkshakes I will keep going.

Those milkshakesvare so addictive. Living in the deep south means anytime I am that far north I have to go.

Get out of the 60s dude. French fries are headed in an exciting new direction and you're gonna get left behind!

Those fries were a staple from my childhood. These new things are an aberration.

You're not missing much. The shakes are awesome, and the reason the place is legendary, but the burgers are pretty meh.

^I agree it is pretty much garbage food. I think it is a place to go for lunch for people that like going to the Olive garden for dinner.

It is one of those great memory places for many as kids so they associate the food with it.

Yeah, their burgers are pretty meh... but sometimes that disgusting sloppy burger goes so well with that shake.

That place defies understanding. How it has such a "cult" reputation is beyond me. Sure, milkshakes are nice and thick, but they're still just boxed soft-serve mixed with premade syrups.
People suggesting that place is some kind of "must-see" to tourists really GMG. Send them somewhere where the food and lines arn't horrific. I can think of a number of better places that makes their own milkshakes and you don't even have to get served by little ladies in scrubs.

Their fries were nasty and the rest of Peters food is average at best. Sloppy burgers that looks like it was made by some 13 year old that doesn't give a crap how the burger is made. Overrated place.

Excellent shares though they need bigger straws.

Their fries were pretty bad and the burgers barely edible. It is a fun place to go, but if it wasn't for the milkshakes I wouldn't bother going.

The place is completely over rated.

Hated those fries. Tasteless and too salty. Looking forward to the new fries, which I hope are also provided in more reasonable portions.

Now if they got rid of those fantastic marshmallow shakes, I would be emotionally destroyed.

Fries, Bun and Burgers should never be a soggy mess.

Yet at Peter's, they are constantly.

Yeah what's up with their sizes? A large fries can feed a village in Africa for 3 days.
