Ok this one is better than last year. He clearly isn’t trying to make the most stylistic mask, but this is a pretty hilarious one. Love it!
Im sure that most people with kids and work that forces them to travel a lot get it.

Oh for sure I respect that he’s a family man.
But as a goalie who grew up loving the gear and especially the masks, and collecting replicas and cards that feature them, I really dislike his masks. But he does it for him and his kids, not us.

You know what'd be an awesome mask? Gandalf fighting the Balrog on the bridge of Khazad-Dum. Gandalf on one side, Balrog the other, up by one ear you've got the fellowship, and along the bottom of the chin, in firey Elvish font, "YOU SHALL NOT PASS".
But I'm nearly 30 and nobody's even asked me to play goalie in pickup hockey for 12 years, so someone else can have it.

I’ve always had the plan that I would have a custom mask professionally painted for me one day. Sort of like getting a tattoo but I can hang it on the wall instead.

Unbridled rage and disgust is the only reasonable response to these monstrosities.
On the plus side, you don't really see much of the kids during the game and it's an otherwise good looking mask.

That’s because, outside of the faces, David Arrigo pays incredibly little attention to detail.
That being said I think the kid is “cupping” the fireball - but hard to be sure

The more/closer I look the worse it gets.
The hands, the chest, the Calgary tower - just so many lazy areas and it all looks so muddy.
I shouldn’t care as much but this just seems so sloppy for a professional
*EDIT* the kids chin is also tucked inside the jersey...

This was my first thought too, I had to look a few times. His palm is facing up, the fingers on the right side of his hand are the pinky, ring, and middle. The thumb is on the left.
