I'm always optimistic when its 0-0 on the road after the first period. All it takes is a lucky bounce or a dominant shift and you get that valuable lead. Was really disappointed in the effort in the second period. You'd like to blame it on fatigue but I hate using that excuse with professional athletes who are on the ice every day.

Marleau always plays well against us.

Still a closet Sharks fan...probably my second favourite team in the west.

Has Bouma played enough yet to qualify as one of the forwards that gets exposed in expansion? If so, I don't see why he is drawing in ahead of Hathaway. If they really want to give Hathaway a rest, play Freddie Hamilton. Bouma is the 14th forward at best now
