Leafs are so stupid.
Some say the league is better when the leafs are good. I strongly disagree. It's so much more entertaining when they fail, the media freakout over the most minute of details brings me extreme pleasure!

He was bad last night and he’s pretty terrible overall. This isn’t surprising, but the question remains: Who do they get to back up Andersen? I don’t see an answer yet.

Hutchinson has been complete garbage. It's almost a guaranteed loss when he's in net.

That's a hard answer to give considering that they have to find a goalie with VERY low cap... Very tough to do.

They play their back-up goalie like the Flames used to with McBackup and then blame him when he sucks.

This is literally why I dont watch TSN unless I have to. Also why I deleted their app and never go to the website anymore. Who cares about the CFL playoffs last night or NFL or NBA or NHL when we can have 5 stories about the Leafs backup and what Matthew's ate for breakfast.

The funny thing is that we used to blame the goaltender at the time but if you look back the Flames played horribly whenever they put the backup in net. McBackup was great in the AHL, had a very solid NHL career and was fortunate to get chances with teams that weren't as mentally fragile as the Flames that seemed to wilt anytime Kipper wasn't in net.

One third of Canada's English-speaking population lives in the Golden Horseshoe. It simply makes business sense to target the largest portion of your potential customers. It's not really all that hard to figure out why they do this.

And the rest of Canada is supposed to like it? This constant reminder that the leafs get the most coverage because they have the biggest fan base does nothing to alleviate other fans' annoyance at being ignored.
