The UFC over hype machine on Lesner
I believe they have hand picked Hunt to be beaten by Lesner. I hope Hunt catches him early for the knockout and puts and end to this. UFC have deliberately selected a fighter with a name in Hunt that is on the downside, short reach, poor stamina only average ground defence so they can say afterwards "Brock is back". But Hunt still has surprising speed in his big strikes with both hands. Hunt put an end to White's promotion plans for Lesner.

I think it's a fun match up. Hunt has been my favourite HW for a long time. It's been very difficult to get Hunt to the ground and keep him there for a few years now, and he hasn't been submitted since 2010. If Hunt can manage to stuff a takedown and land one shot that could be it.
Brock, doesn't deal with getting hit very well, and is getting in there with one of the best striking HW's ever.
On the other hand Brock is a completely different animal, one takedown might be all he needs to make it a short night. Getting Roy or Struve off of you is much easier than getting Brock off of you.
I like watching both guys fight should be an exciting one with both guys being capable of ending it quickly in different ways.
I think its the fact that they want huge PPV numbers for this event and Hunt is a big draw in his own right.
Stylistically i'm not sure Hunt is that great of a match up for Lesnar - too much punching power and a guy that can easily hurt Lesnar standing up. Decent takedown defense too.

I have been a fan of Hunt as well. Always gives everything he has. Win or lose. As you know Hunt has been in several fights where he was losing and he pulled out a overhand on the chin to win in a stunning stoppage.
UFC really needs to start having a 3rd guy ready to step in for situations like this
Sure that could work for a few weeks out, but a couple days before is really a disaster. I can't imagine many fighters are ready...although they might be willing to step in and hope for a huge upset.
