It's basically Tomb Raider for kids. It actually doesnt look as bad as I expected. I'm curious on how they are going to use Map in this. I fully expect to be taking both my kids to this.

Mayor Goodway implicated in a corruption scandal, Chase is forced to investigate, against the will of Ryder, who then turns the rest of the Paw Patrol gang against Chase.

This looks interesting. I'm still of the opinion that Heath Ledger's version of the character will never be topped, but Joaquin Phoenix is a terrific actor and looks like he brings his own flavor to the role. I think this may have potential.

I'm in on that joker take. Hot damn. The underlying menace is just sitting there, ready to explode. Might be the best end to a DC movie.

Joaquin Phoenix is probably the best person for this role. Heath Ledgers portrayal was amazing but Phoenix is probably the only person who can due any justice to Joker after Ledger. Leto didn't cut it.

When I look at Ledger's joker, I thought it was well done, but a little overrated when it comes to what he had to do for the movie. A lot of it was given such a high opinion because of his death before. It's not to say it was bad - just overblown. Ledgers wasn't intimidating, just menacing. Jack Nicholson's was also really good, but comedic. I'm sure Joaquin has more to work with here, and overall is a great actor, so you'll probably have better character development. I really like the independent feel to it.

Overrated? this scene is easily the best acted scene in The Dark Knight Trilogy

My favorite scene is with the pile of burning money. It was the only time you really got a hint at The Jokers real personality and motivations I think. Theres a longer cut where it shows Lao sitting on the top of the burning pile and The Joker throws a wad of cash at his face.

It's also the only time he really went full gangster.

"Why don't we cut you up into little pieces and feed you to your pooches? Then we'll see how loyal a hungry dog really is."

I would kind of go the other way and say TDK is a decent movie made great by Ledger's performance. To this day while watching it I completely forget Ledger is there. It's just Joker.

I still think that the statement "Its not about the money, its about sending a message" in that scene is such a massive reveal into who the joker was.
