After the win against the Panthers, the Snake should be .4878 above the black line....first time in a while....time to keep it there and STAY there!!!

Snek haiku:
Flames wear red with snek
Bad blue sneks stink like grease
Katz casting call soon

The Flames enter the break after playing 45 games. The red snake broke across the black line after game 44, and widened the gap after game 45. It now sits 1.317 points above the black line, the same figure they were at after game number 4. It's the first time the red snake has been above the black line for two consecutive games since the completion of games 20 and 21. It is guaranteed to be above for at least one more game. The red snake sits 3 points above the green snake and 6 points above the purple snake.
The red snake is currently on pace for 98 points. It needs a record of 21-16-0 to reach 96 points.

Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver are all on their week long breaks. For those of you wondering what the Western Canadian snakes would look like, here you go. Graph has not been adjusted to show extreme failure. Moderate failure is still shown.
The red snake is 1.317 points above the black line, 11 points above the blue snake (with one game in hand), and 12 points above the green snake (equal games played). The blue snake is 1 point above the green snake, but has played one more game. After 45 games, the green snake was 1 point above the blue snake.
Points and points per game required to reach 96 points:
-Calgary - 42 points - 1.135 PPG - 0.568 points percentage - 93 point pace
-Edmonton - 53 points - 1.472 PPG - 0.736 points percentage - 121 point pace
-Vancouver - 54 points - 1.459 PPG - 0.730 points percentage - 120 point pace

The western Canadian snakes should only be shown in extra crispy.
What would be interesting is to set the lower boundary of the graph as the team the furthest of the pace at any point to make the playoffs. Then falling off the graph eliminates you from the playoffs.
Last years Flames before the 10 game streak have to be one of the bigger playoffs runs ever in the NHL and they didn't fall off the page.
