The only thing more NG than Edmonton is the use of Comic-sans in the OP national post rant.

Fitting, really.

Uh, we need to put the Oilers icon on the left side of this thread. Helps to differentiate it.

Frank Seravelli with his 31 bold predictions...

12. EDMONTON - Lord Stanley is coming home: The Oilers will end Canada’s Stanley Cup drought after 25 long years. Connor McDavid matched Sidney Crosby by winning the Hart and Art Ross in his sophomore season. Along with Leon Draisaitl, his version of Evgeni Malkin, McDavid will one-up Crosby by capturing the Cup in his third season – after Crosby fell short in Game 6 against the Red Wings.

10 out of 10 Oiler fans and fans from most other teams believe that the Oilers will blow the Flames out on Wednesday and will continue to dominate the Flames.

So if you'll excuse me I have to find a sock strong enough to hold 2 doorknobs.

I love it. All the pressure is on them now. No sneaking up on anyone.

After lots going right, including teams still seeing them as bottom feeders, they'll get played hard every night.

This should be very interesting to watch

They go only as far as Talbot and McJesus can take them imo. Either one gets injured or doesn't do as well as last season and things will go south quickly.

Do all these people forget that you still need defense to win championships? Klefbom and Larsson are good but nothing behind them is

Actually the only good thing behind them is Talbot.

If that guy gets so much as the sniffles the Oilers are likely a lottery team again.
