Sean Monahan - Countdown to 40 goals (Needs: 13G; GR:28)
Could we see someone score 40 goals in a Flames jersey for the first time since Iggy?
I started one of these a couple of years ago (for 30G) and it worked. Let's hope it works this time as well.

Always love following these, you should start a Gaudreau 100 point one as well.

All Monahan does is score goals, and important ones at that. Guy is the definition of clutch.

Unlike the Jagr one, this is an accomplishment for which I would be excited, as with Gaudreau getting 100. Both are true Flames.

Bumped as well. Sean needs 19 more goals with 38 games remaining to hit the 40 goal mark. Definitely doable.

Not every part of his game is top calibre, but his instinct for finding the quiet ice is incredible.
His shot is not the hardest, but he gets it off very quickly and accurately.
In tight, he thinks the game so fast, knows just where to send the chip shots.
He's one of the best goal scorers that the Flames have ever had.

I definitely see him around 35.
40 might be tough; even at this season's current pace this season, he would be at 39.

A hat trick would really jump him ahead of 40 goal pace.
