I’m in the same league and while I haven’t seen the file I’ll avoid trading until Grant figures out the sim stuff.

Can’t the ratings be released to everyone then in the meantime until we figure out how to load the sim?
Or is it if we can’t figure that out we go with something else?

The final ratings and OVR can change when you load in the sim based on the settings our league uses, so releasing it before I upload into the sim would be misleading. I need to load in the sim, and then output the ratings as they show up for us.
The file I have also has no OVR, just the individual attributes.

Not sure. Waiting to see if the other league is willing to actually share the proper ratings file with me or not. If not, we will likely have to pivot to a different package.
Keep in mind last year it was late June.

There is a package coming out this week that sounds promising that I will check out when it's released.

It shouldn’t have to come to this. Several current CPHL GMs are a part of that league. We are a full league with no vacancies, but they need GMs
Share the files and maybe current CPHL GMs wanna have another league to play in. But instead deny file sharing because of what? Competition?
Lame.

I just want to be clear on things, as the last thing I want to do is start a beef with another league. The guy that Knut hooked me up with provided me with the excel file and has been trying to tell me what to do with the file. I've also tried to follow the instructions by the provider of the sim.
Basically it has to match a certain format exactly or it won't load. Moreover, the excel file doesn't contain player information such as age, positions, etc. So I would need to get that elsewhere and that merge the two files together into the correct format.
It's simply beyond my skills.
The ratings file itself would bypass all that. When you buy a package that's what you get. I've offered to pay for the file, but it's their file and their call. They put in the work to create it and if they want to keep it private it's up to them.
