The had won 7 in a row prior to that. I actually hadn't realized they had 8 losses since that win streak until they mentioned it on the broadcast

Ok a much better inning that time. That's interesting, the broadcasters pointed out that it was Jansen calling the pitches rather than Bassitt that inning.

The best thing about that homer was that he was called on 2 strikes that were off the plate. Would have been easy for him to lose it mentally and swing at a crap pitch. Instead he bombs one out for the lead. Just awesome.

What a load. That 2nd strike call on Chapman was just garbage, not even close to a strike. Should have been on first with the inning continuing. Instead, inning over.
