Like I said the coaching in this game has been diabolical, the short yardage play calls especially. Which means more fun could be in store.

Chargers should protect Herbert here and just let Chase Daniel try and come back, long season and 10 days off should make this an easy call.

I damaged some cartilage in my ribs playing hockey last year and Herbert looked a lot like I felt after that. Get moved the wrong way and it hurts like hell. That dart on 4th down to Carter was some throw. He's going to feel that tomorrow.
Chiefs lucky to get that win. Defence made one big play and it stood up.

I understand why teams don't play starters in the preseason but if last night was any indication week two games will be sloppy again. Both QB's in this game alternated between great throw and bad throw. Must have been 6+ interceptions dropped between both teams and the lone one that was held onto ended up being the difference.

Probably a good thing for us as the Americans on a football forum I frequent complained about the quality of the game. I imagine the quality was on par or better than DAZN (which has improved over the years) but not quite as good as HD cable.
