Is it wrong of me to hope one of her kids comes into the room, picks up a gun and accidentally kills her live on Zoom?

My response was regarding the 2nd impeachment, and I hadn't realized that the linked data was about the 1st. My point still stands though.

Except when they have used objective criteria and metrics and data to present reality?
Or is the weather biased too?
Saying no person is bias free is as useless of a statement as the cliche “everyone is entitled to their opinion”.
It’s misleading. Sure everyone has built in biases. Yet some only seek confirmation bias while others are conscious of their point of view and seek challenges their own beliefs in order to better understand complexity.
It’s similarly misleading to how “you are entitled to your opinion”.
You’re entitled to support arguments based on reliable, objective, empirical, and verifiable evidence that support your opinion.
Accountability comes along with this entitlement.
When your opinion is void of these arguments and based in fantasy, everyone else is entitled to no longer trust or believe anything you say or do. How you disseminate these arguments also determines the level to which you can be held accountable for your “opinion”.
This is why libel and slander laws exist.

Really? It’s pretty obvious. They’re normalizing the lunacy Fox News relentlessly disseminates with false equivalency.
“Oh CNN is sensationalized biased crap and Fox News is sensationalized biased crap, they’re both just sensationalized biased crap.”
Except they’re not even close to the same. This point was evidenced previously.

Yes really. I love your spitefulness over an attack on CNN.
I read the post, it appear to me to be fair game. CNN looked to cover up a story, whereas the crap fox news called it right -hit CNN and hit them hard.
I don't recall a false equivalency at all in the post. The poster even said "Fox News is as tabloidish and partisan as it gets" - implying its worse than CNN.
Just saying, call out CNN when they pull this crap.

I thought we weren't allowed to criticize Biden yet.

I think the bottom right box is completely fabricated. The min wage is about pulling it out of this covid relief bill to be a standalone fight. That makes sense to me. Biden actually went beyond what should have been expected from progressives by trying to put it in this bill.

Well as long as nothing meaningful is done for the general electorate at least the centrists will be happy.

As someone who wants an minimum wage increase, I don't agree with this post at all given the comment you are replying to.
Get the COVID relief out ASAP, don't let a minimum wage debate hold it up. It already stalled out too long.
There are merits that a minimum wage bill should stand on its own and have its own debate.

COVID relief should have been out 3 weeks ago. There are people in the US who have been suffering without necessities for half a year or more and the Dems keep dragging their feet even though they hold the entire goddamn government to make an appeal to the 5 or 6 Republicans interested in working in a bipartisan aspect, ignoring that 90% of the party will continue to undermine democracy for their own gain.
2022 is coming, and Dems need to stop playing nice and fix all of this broken garbage before they can't anymore. It's pathetic.

Nothing in this post appears to actually disagree with my post you are responding too.
They can ram through a minimum wage bill as a seperate bill, not related to COVID relief. Just plays a better long game for the dems and helps them accomplish more goals.

What long game do they have to accomplish???
Why do they need bipartisan agreement with *anything*?
At what point did Republicans work with them for anything for the last 12 goddamn years?

Stop changing my words.
I never said bipartisan is needed.
Long game? Higher minimum wage is a popular ideal, but not universally accepted, even on the left.
Give it lip service to its own debate, and ram it through.
You get what you want, without dealing with the attacks of jamming it in the COVID emergency funding.
Be smart about your actions, and get what you want.
