The best deals will always be in the things that are hated. Right now, that's cyclical sectors like Oil (especially Offshore), Coal, Shipping, Uranium, etc. I know people are always looking at the next hot tech stock, but if you have some guts and patience, there are lots of deals to be had in areas that are completely decimated.

I think shipping is overvalued for the most part at this point when you look at companies like Fedex, XPO and TFII. Agreed on everything else though.

I'm actually looking at things with actual ships, ie. like Scorpio Tankers and Euronav.

I do wish I invested in TFI. My financial advisor recommend that one in April, but I didn't act.

Then again, tech sure can be fun. Based on the news that Apple was back in the car game, I acted on a hot tip this morning on FRSX (they develop sensor/vision systems for things like autonomous cars). My entry into a speculative stock is usually a catalyst for a drop, but it popped 85% today.

What caused that pop?

Still waiting for that pullback that never comes.

I think it has a chance to be a good long-term stock as is. I like that what they provide is pretty agnostic and focuses on the motor, not any particular battery or specific use. So it doesn't matter what battery type (ie lithium, solid-state, hydrogen etc), or OEM you're a fanboy of (Tesla, Rivian, Ford etc)...they all use motors that benefit.

Add in the fact that it's the only operating Rare Earth miner in North America, in an industry dominated by China, probably means good things with the incoming administration that will most likely be pouring a ton of money/support into the this type of stuff.

Same. Was looking at lidar companies last week. Bought some common shares in a few of the industry leaders (vldr and lazr) which have both done well. Took a flyer on some calls on MVIS which shot up the last week. I’m way past the strike price so probably going to ride it.

Also looked at fubo tv last week and balked due to the lack of funds. It’s had a good week with reports coming out they are getting a good market share in tv and expanding into sports betting. Might have priced me out after today.

Agree with all of this. It's just so hard to get in on those SPACs/IPOs for Joe average.

Discipline tells you wait for a pullback that never happens and now you are chasing.

Alternatively, you can move down the value stream and buy a less gooder company in the same sector, also not good.

You hit the nail on the head it's pretty much the ONLY producing rare earth miner in North America, and in California no less. ESG funds are going to be pouring cash into it. Biden, new green deal etc etc. Just freaking pull back a teeny bit, please!!!!

I’m going to do you a favor, and buy some additional shares tomorrow. Guaranteed to drop once I do.

Amci merging with Advent. Hydrogen technology. Merger date hasn't been formally announced and it will move up alot once it has. Likely double from the $15 per share to $30 per share by March.

Another silly day today for FRSX. Looks like it's following the same volatile rise as MVIS and LAZR had earlier.

BTC ripped over the holidays, but suffering a bit of a pull back today. I'm bullish on BTC still, and have scalp swings in RIOT and MARA, wanting 20 in both. NXTD is a sneaky beast too, which is not really coin, but always plays as a sympathy, and is an awesome low float banger if you get in early.

The pullback should be nice to see some loading tmw.

Keep eyes on BA this week

News from a cpl days ago. Boeing 737 Max Makes Emergency Landing After Engine Failure.

Gap down potential for a bounce. I think she goes to 190s based on fib ext and vol profile. I'll be look at adding to my long term position. It will be a slower mover though if you play Commons, so size accordingly if you do take a position.

I would also imagine other airlines probably on watch too
