It does seem to be more common? At least to me, maybe the stats say otherwise I havent really dug into it.
Could be more reporting on them since the racially motivated attack by Dylan hate using their names. Would there even be tracking on locations such as churches?

Well not really, a completely hopeless shooter armed with a fairly ineffective weapon from a body count point of view who appears to have some mental health issues attacks a church with a fully armed and trained volunteer security team led by an ex cop and firearms training expert (I believe) as well as full time paid armed security guard, this was quite possibly the most well prepared church for a shooting you could get and still the murderous numpty takes 2 with him.

I'm not sure including suicides in there is helping.

I used to think it was helpful, but access to guns re: suicide only puts the US at 33rd globally for suicide rates. It's a bit of a red herring.
Really they should just be focusing on the mass shootings and children killed as that is a much more powerful message.

To reduce suicides, look at guns
Limiting gun access could cut the suicide rate by over a third
https://www.washingtonpost.com/graph...suicide-rates/
Quote:
“If we had a shift in the number of people who attempt to end their life with a firearm — who chose other means — we would very greatly reduce our suicide rate,” according to Daniel Webster, a professor at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
And for those who did not die, it's likely they would not try to commit suicide again. A 2002 review of 90 studies indicates that more than 90 percent of people who survive a suicide attempt won’t die from a later suicide attempt either.
The wide availability of guns in America matters for suicide because guns are more lethal than any other suicide method. According to CDC data, which includes suicide attempts that were serious enough that the person ended up in the emergency room or dead, 90 percent of people who shoot themselves die, but only 4 percent of people who poison themselves die.
Experts contend if you reduce a suicidal person’s access to firearms, it’s likely to save his life, even if he attempts suicide with a different method.

The NRA and their pieces of human excrement supporters will never give a crap about kids getting killed. Everyone knew that answer after Sandy Hook. effing 3rd world county.

It matters to the 1-29 people that won't get shot because the gun wasn't fully loaded.

Can't say it's surprising but it didn't take long for a mass shooter to get back at it after lockdowns were lifted. A mass shooting tonight in Arizona at Westgate Shopping Center.
Warning, the video is tough to watch.
